Think about it this way, if you don't pre-order and then don't win you may not have an orange and if you do win will one of your own design be enough? I am just putting that out there.

I think the two would be fairly different though. One would be a prototype, whereas the other a finished product. Definitely different results in my opinion.

I would probably give the second to a friend who totally dug the puzzles.

I wish he would post at least minor details on how he wants these presented. I have so many evil plans.

Then again, I hope he waits until at least August, when I'll have more free time!

I'm not sure if I think of that as confirmation or just that purchasers will get the first version. I sincerely hope that non-purchasers get a stab at it.

I don't see any benefit to giving anything special to purchasers .. other than ownership of a copy of the maze.

I knew it. I was thinking there was no use on letting those who didn't preorder the orange enter the competition. There are going to be 250 orange. At that rate could you really imaging going through even 250 designs for the orange?

There may be a lot fewer than 250 valid entries. Some people won't have the time or inclination to design a puzzle. Some won't follow the rules. Some submissions will be utterly unbuildable or unplayable.

I wish Chris would accept entries from more people. For example, anyone who has registered and opened any of the extreme puzzles. More entries means better puzzles to pick from. The winner will be more fun for us to solve. I'm just being greedy.

Alas, it would be more work for Chris since he has to wade through all the entries.
