Has anyone here ever played the online puzzle 'The Stone'

I thought that was long dead? It ran for ages. Where you a stoner?

I looked at it a few times, never played it.

Yes I was.

It did die out a long time ago but all the code was given to someone else to host for anyone who wanted to continue playing it or start new. The community is still going strong you.

If you used to play and didn't finish before it was shutdown now's your chance to get back into it, you just need to start all over again

In the immediate there are several puzzles, and only a few are available to you at a time, each puzzle is a picture that holds clues to what the questionéanswer is. you need to find out what the question is and then submit you answer.....

You will get one of four responces; ``Sorry``, ``Close, so close``, ``clever``, or the answer page.

I`m working on one of them as I work on my Blue Revomaze

I'm doing "the unknown" and have only got one so far, which was The Watchers

EDIT: Top Secret was really easy.

Loved the puzzles. Started playing in 1999 and it took up about 10yrs of my life. I was in the final group of players who worked to solve the final 6 puzzles. Those were insane. Scarecrows field is a nice site, but it's just not the same as the original.

Almost forgot. I have a box of the original stone pendants that I picked up when the local Museum store put them up on sale.

I agree, its not the same as the original, waiting for new puzzles to arrive, the gatherings... but I didn't get to finish the Immediate and now I have that opportunity
