1. Does this site ship to Canada
2. If yes, is it cheaper than thinkgeek?
3. The site says if under 18, to be watched by an adult... why?
4. How exactly does this puzzle work, I've gather that it's a cylinder that you need to turn, etc but when people talk about "swamps" and "canyons" does that imply that each "area" would be a noticeable difference as you progress through the puzzle?
5. There are quite a few of these, and I plan on getting them in orderish. Is it really worth it to pay so much for these?
Thanks for any help!

Re: A couple questions
Hello HorizonShadow...
I can speak to some of your questions.
#1 The folks at PuzzleMaster have been really good for Canadian orders to me out here in Victoria.
#3 My 9 and 6 year olds seem to like to knock the mazes around as they figure force may open them. They like to roll them off things as well.
I now only let them handle the plastics.
#4 I have found they get harder logarithmically in effort, thought, time, pain, and reward.
#5 Definitely try the metal or obession blue first. You will either be hooked or not....most likely hooked
Cheers

Re: A couple questions
I was wondering about age because I'm 16, making sure nothing lethal was going to be shooting out at me.
Need to make sure it's worth dropping the money down seeing as I've heard it only takes 5-6 hours to complete the blue one.
I'll most likely buy it anyway as I like puzzles... How's the re-solve value?
I enjoy getting faster times on my Rubik's cube, so I suppose I'll find a 5 hour re-solve worth the money.
Little bit hesitant dropping the money on one, as I'll end up buying the rest.. not cheap.

If you have limited funds, the obsession line is almost exactly the same as the metal counter part just doesn't come completely apart. No idea what's in store for the wold series.

Re: A couple questions
Not tight on cash necessarily.. I have a tendency to buy expensive things, but limit it to 100ish a month as I have payments to make on other things.
Reading around the forum more, it seems these puzzles are rather... unique.
I'll probably order one next month, try and coax my parents to buying me one for grading(they don't do grading gifts. ever.) and then buy some more with summer money
In the mean time.. what's this "V2" business I've been hearing about?

Re: A couple questions
After the Silver Revomaze was released, Chris discovered a potential flaw in some of them that in some cases made it impossible to solve. Once identified he had the maze redesigned to fix the issue and sent out the new version to everyone that had already received their puzzle. So, the initial release of the Silver with the potential problem is V1 and all others after that point are V2.HorizonShadow wrote:In the mean time.. what's this "V2" business I've been hearing about?

Re: A couple questions
Not having been on a date in decades I can only image that a night out on the town these days would set you back more than a revomaze ... you can pitch that logic to the folks
A revomaze costs less than about 50 tall lattes.
A revomaze costs less than 6 cases of beer (not that you could know that)
You can only travel about 1500 kms for the price of a revo.
As you can see, a revomaze is excellent entertainment value.

Re: A couple questions
I noticed that there's a discount on pre-ordering the 6th revomaze, and it's limited to 250 available single units.
Would it be logical to preorder the 6th before getting 1-5?
I find the pre-order price more reasonable than the normal price.(I really don't want to pay $260 + shipping and tax.)
If so, I need to hope that it isn't released before June 12th(If waiting that long is a bad idea, let me know.. I have the money now)

Re: A couple questions
Not sure how you did your math but the prices in the web site are in british pounds. It converts to about $100 to $120 per puzzle. The "sixth" one is a special edition limited release. If you had to pick one of the metal extremes I would say the Bronze. It's where I started (because it was a gift). It will keep you busy for awhile. The blue and green where"easy" after having done the bronze first. DO NOT START WITH THE SILVER. You could also go with the blue Obsesion to get a feel for a Revomaze. But the "feel" is different between the plastic and metal. I prefer the metal.

Re: A couple questions
i wasnt planning on starting with gold.. just that it's part of the set and limited, so i was wondering if i should get it while its available and cheap
EDIT:
On my computer now, I was told it was double in Canada, I just converted it to see the actual price.
It's still cheaper..and I like having limited edition items.
EDIT2:
What's FOC shipping?
Looking on paying for most of the collector's edition, with my parents helping, but what's the FOC shipping about?
