Re: RevoBoxes?

I know what you mean about the white boxes that the revomazes ship in, I have a big pile of them that I would never throw away but don't know what to do with :?

I quite like the simple stands for the puzzles and Im not sure I'd want anything bigger... shoot me down if Im you think Im being silly here, but the wooden boxes you describe just sound like isis boxes to me? Okay, so Im guessing your thinking of something with a little more quality maybe, but nontheless, you seem to be describing an isis box?

I think if I were going to take my revomaze anywhere that would require them being in a box then I'd probably be taking the set, in which case I'd probably be looking for something more like a small briefcase/flightcase with a foam insert of some sort.

However, if Chris made any type of case for them I'd probably end up getting one anyway

Never got the Isis, never seen its box. So it may sound similar. So what would be needed to differentiate it from Isis box? Maybe if the box itself has a puzzle latch?

A full collection box could be interesting.

Even simpler could just be a ring with a flat edge on it that goes around the puzzle and keeps it from rolling away - something that attaches rather than is a departed piece to pack along like the stands.

I love the slim silver briefcase option, could probably even build one with the cutouts from the normal boxes ... kinda james bond-esque

in my line of work you don't go any where without at least one or two Pelicans. If you want to keep something secure that's your ticket. ;)

Adam, you're a photographer or army? (Those are two of the few professions I know that regularly use Pelicans on long journeys).

Military yes, Army no. I work with the Army all the time but, I am in the Air Force. But you can put pelican cases through a lot and the keep your revo safe and sound!!!

I suspect the Revo itself could serve as ammo if you are in short supply. Heck, you could use it to confuse the other side and make them wonder what type of grenade you just threw at them! "HAH! The only way to stop it is to pull the pin!"

RevoOrdinance!

My apologies for saying Army. Being a civilian, when we say any single branch, we often imply all three ;). My relatives in the airforce periodically want to throttle me for that. I respond by threatening to go JAG.

The real worry is scratches to its beautiful patina! Or, in the case of the Silver, bending it by 0.4mm!
