Aha, found them, I have 3 of those, they are from Binary Arts, I bought them in 2001.

Those look great! They look sturdy. Are they paper or cardboard?
The instructions printed on the original template said you have to close one eye to see the illusion. Is that true?

They are made from cardboard, and have instructions how to fold them, and also instructions how to look at them, with only 1 eye.
