Welcome emilone.
I think if the we mentioned the name of design element that's hardest in the Blue it would be a spoiler. It's sometimes referred to as "you know, that part".
I think one of the cleverer features were the pools in the Bronze. Not particularly difficult, but resulted in some wtf moments.
The silver was jam packed with features. The "not a canyon" proved to be impossibly difficult on mine since it wasn't working the way it was supposed to. The swamp was no picnic either.
The guards in the Orange were diabolical and stumped many people.
The Red's rainbow makes it one of the best looking cores once it's open. There have been some photos of the core which dont give anything away. Navigating the rainbow is another thing entirely.
I think the feature (stamatic) that's unique to the Lime makes it one of the most difficult Revomazes so far. It's really difficult to figure out what the tricks are since it's so stealthy.
The three hardest Revomazes are the silver, lime and handmade. The handmade uses design elements seen elsewhere, but made more difficult in various ways.

oh oh oh, i forgot about THE MOST AWESOME TRAP EVER: the lime trap.
took me 1 hour for the first a-ha moment, and another two to find out wtf is going on there.
and i am sure that EVERY lime owner knows what i am talking about

I was going to mention that, but decided not to. BTW has anyone figured out that issue to Chris's satisfaction yet?

Re: In all your revomazing...what was the hardest/craziest t
The hardest... The gold mechanism (not counting the algorithm!) , that was tough but great to find out.
The craziest... The middle bit of the handmade, the fact it is in the middle of the maze is crazy.
What stumped me most... The swamp in silver V1, but that may have been due to the lack of an exit, the poor pin is still there as we speak/type.
Reading this thread makes me even more excited about receiving Lime soon!

Glad to see so much participation. Very intriguing replies! You increased my antecipation of weirdness to come. Thanks for the warm welcomes. Over here in Brazil the puzzle community is rather tame and small; glad to have found you. You all have become quite good at describing stuff without giving away... It seems that Lime has very interesting parts; why aren't there reviews of it in the usual blogs? Came in too late?
Quoting Hornby: "I have always been accused of taking the things I love - football, of course, but also books and records - much too seriously, and I do feel a kind of anger when I hear a bad record, or when someone is lukewarm about a book that means a lot to me.”
I sense such love taking over me regarding puzzles...glad to see I am not the only maniac out there.
Let me go back to Blue and "you know, that part"...
Stay warm, it surely is warm over here...

The hardest for me so far has been the orange. Specifically the guard. Very crafty and well thought out trap.
