The library collection was on the website just a few minutes ago and now it's gone. It looked like some of the text was lost on the right margin. Hopefully it'll be up again soon. I did see enough to know there's a Black Ex in the group.

Update:

http://revomaze.co.uk/xcart/product.php ... featured=Y

Please read and if you are serious about the collection you do have the opportunity to put what you think items are worth.

It has taken me longer to get the Collection up. Apologies!

Ref: How many CE Sets - not many - we are in the last stages!

Been busy this week on R2's while Sophie has been away.

Quite the document you've got there Chris. People that want to bid will have to accept the spoilers or have someone else fill out the read the descriptions and look at the pretty photos and then fill out the bidding form.

I don't get how they plan to do this. After one places a bid, will they be notified if they were out bid? And will they be able to see the current offers for other so they don't start with a bid that is lower than the current bid?

I think you submit one page of bids for the items or groups of items or the whole thing. You only get one chance to bid so if you're serious it should be either be the maximum you're willing to spend or the amount that's more than you think anyone else will bid.

All the bids will have to be in before a deadline. After that Chris and Sophie decide how to make the most money from our bids. Then they announce the results either publicly or privately. The bidding fee for those that don't win becomes a credit that can be used towards some other purchase. There's a deadline for that too later this year. If all the R1's are sold out I guess it can be put towards a R2 series puzzle.

Apparently you can amend your bids by resubmitting them before the deadline. This would be done blind since no one will know what the other people have bid.

To explain.... Anyone who is collecting or wishes to have one of the prototypes or the entire set needs to apply. People who just wish to see the collection will think twice and that is fine as this is just for the serious collectors.

Placing the document so everyone can see was not a good idea - but the people who bid but do not win will have 200 points (£10) that can be used against any other purchase as I had not designed to make extra money from the sale.

Having people already placing bids shows the process has started and we will sell the set or mazes to people who wish to have them.

The collection contains "REVOMAZE 1" my first handmade and the Black from my son. The alternative would be to put the maze up individually.

smiteo I totally understand that you do not wish to pay to bid and that you are not even curious - I respect that. A few will have that opinion - but many are serious that they would like the collection.

For The Record: all I want is for the set or puzzles to go to someone who likes collecting as this is very personal to me. The money raised will be re-invested in equipment so I can continue making puzzles. Once these are gone they are gone and I can then move on!

I am still confused on how exactly the bidding process goes.
