I think that if you go out comparing most puzzles to the Revomaze then you are going to be constantly disappointed.

Remember that the Daeloring costs 10 Euros. ;)

If anyone wants one (yellow or orange) then let me know.
The shop price is 10 euro (8,5 GBP)
I could send them over or bring them along to the gadgetshow in April.
If paypal works I would the harder one just fo fun.

Hence, "cheap" knock-off of the Revomaze craze. It is the same exact concept, only not metal, only 2 pieces easily put together, and simply cheaper.

I mean i am not saying that I am comparing the two, but it seems like trying to compare a new strain of Burger King or McDonalds to the real things.

Revomaze is the real thing and it seems like someone figured to try and make something just like it only spend alot less money doing it.

Daeloring actually came first many many years ago. It's recently be rebranded/re-released. You say they've spent less money, I gather they've spent bucketloads on marketing.

Quite right Dool 'o Rinth puzzles were released a fair time ago now and have recently been rebranded as Daeloring with a new feature the 'quick return' path which is the only part of the puzzle that is comparable with a revomaze. These puzzles have more in common with traditional mazes. Enjoy them for what they are, they are fun and frustrating at times. I got used to the hole up the centre (good for sticking a finger up) on the Dool 'o Rinths but the new puzzles do not have a hole up the middle :(

You can still buy the old puzzles here is a link to the Yellow and Orange the other colours are harder to get these days...

Not really, there actually is a huge metal spring inside (where Mhuti's finger used to go:-), I guess this was done to give it a more 'serious' feeling. Mhuti, you can shake/knock the spring and the circular bottom plate out if you like. That makes them feel even more like the old ones.

It is a revolving maze with a reset line and it comes in different colors. So it is totally understandable that we try to compare them with the revomazes. The apparent similarity is why I posted about them in the first place.

Anyway, so far I received 'orders' on this thread and via PM to buy 6 of them, and I intend to do so on Saturday.

I have a T3 sitting waiting for me at home, I can't wait to get stuck into it, it's the only one I haven't yet solved (other than T1 clearly).

I also have a set of cakes on the way ;) Excitement! I hope they're good!

Oooh! Exciting stuff! :D

T3 is still my favourite. There's something about the fact that it's all one piece that is really appealing.

And by 'cakes' do you mean the Karakuri Cakes?

At the moment T4 is still my favourite because I think it's mechanism is genius, but everyone raves about T3... and I've still not opened Allards yet despite having had quite a few goes on it... so I figured I should get one of my own.

Hmmm, cake ;)

Great that means I get to buy two of each one for my finger and one to keep unsullied.
