Burrs

Post by hadem »

I was wondering what you guys thought of burrs? I have one or two of them, but I am not very good at solving them at all. Maybe I just haven't spent enough time with them. I am looking for some new puzzles that are difficult and challenging. I know everyone will say, what about the bronze!? I agree, but I need to save a little before I can get the bronze.

This is a very large and difficult burr, but you get the idea.

I do really like the look of some burrs, but my main problem is that I suck at them!

One day I'll probably buy a few and sit down with them and teach myself how they work.

the thing about burrs is that they seem to be more about memorization and less about solving. anyone can memorize a burr... eventually. although i have had a couple burrs worth solving.

burrs aren't usually puzzle you end up solving over and over... and there are many that have WAY more loves than the video posted...

my shapeways store has a bunch that I've designed (plug, plug).
