So 3 Danlocks in a week ... I opened then re-closed mine in around an hour. Beautiful puzzle, and a very fun mechanism.

You'll enjoy it bluesign ... question is how log can you leave it sitting before having a play?

Yeh, I've already opened/closed it a few times. I borrowed Nigel's a few months ago but was so impressed that I wanted one for the collection anyway :D

Dan seems to be working through his waiting list fairly quickly. To anyone that interested, they're $100 USD direct from Dan which includes shipping etc. Only took 4 days to get from Israel and into my hands.

Another puzzle I'd highly recommend which has been mentioned here before is William Strijbos' Aluminium Cylinder Box. Oli has a great review on his blog. There are two numbers which appear to be laser etched on the puzzle, one on the lid and one on the main body. The one on the lid is apparently the series number, and the one on the main body is the serial number out of 100. One of the reasons I like this one so much is that its just as hard (if not harder) to reset completely than it is to open... there's definitely a knack to it. Think it cost me 75 euro delivered directly from Wil.

i guess when i get to be living on my own, i will start upping my collection. Here is a list of what I have. Pictures wont come for a few months probably.

Revomaze:

1. Blue Obsession X2
2. Green Obsession
3. Black Obsession
4. Red Obsession

"Series"

1. Blue
2. Bronze

Rubik's Cube:

1. 2x2x2
2. 3x3x3 X2
3. 4x4x4

Perplexus:

1. Level 1

I shall be updating this list as my 3 ordered Revomazes come in and as I order more puzzles as well. But I am nowhere near what I consider a true puzzle enthusiast, (50 "different kinds" of puzzles or more).

To think a simple Rubik's Cube and my love of Chess started my collection.

Good choice, the runes are guaranteed to keep you busy longer than any Revomaze.
I am bringing my (almost but not fully completed) copy to the MPP.

That's a good place to start, I my case my father had a couple of impossible objects (wooden arrow through a glass bottle and a pack of cigarettes inside a glass bottle) and he had a small collection of mechanical cigarette rolling machines which I couldn't help but investigate (without permission)... we all start somewhere ;)

You should look into the Runes! Man I've had them a day, but I can already feel the addiction infecting my soul. Pretty sure it's not a good thing, but it's going to be quite the ride. :D
