Exactly the same way you map the path. Just use a different colour pen/pencil Do it on the same map as you paths and you'll start to build up a better picture of where you're trying to go.

And I'd say forget drawing straight onto the shaft. Just measure your movements and draw that.

[1] Draw maps
[2] Use them

You just need to learn where you can go, and where the traps are. So learn when to turn.

I am mapping the track, and I am wondering if the track will over lap at all? I have traced my track, and when I wrap it around the shaft, there is only about 1cm between the start and the finish.

Does this mean I am close to finishing? I hope so, as over lapping tracks will make me end up in a padded cell...

You have to remember that the Revo works by you navigating a pin through a metal/plastic maze. It wouldn't physically be possible for one track to overlap another as the pin would have to literally pass through metal/plastic.
