Exactly! Not difficult puzzles by any means in the 'take apart' sense, but if you ask people to consider how they could possibly have gone together in the first place that's where the real fun is!jerryloo71 wrote: Dovetail cubes are very well made...works of art IMHO!

Yup. Really depends on how you define the term "worth the coin".

Does this mean I have broken my Lotus then? It is currently closed with the coin outside.allardwza wrote:Chyron wrote:Don't close the thing when you open it without everything back in place!

Re: Wil Strijbos!!!
I don't think I can technically answer that as I don't know where you are in the puzzle. I think it's safe to remove the coin, just so long as everything else is in place.tsmart wrote:Does this mean I have broken my Lotus then? It's OK to close it with the coin outside .
Re: Wil Strijbos!!!
Yeah a guy at my work figured out the final move.
It is now all back together and I have yet to figure out the final move to get it open

Re: Wil Strijbos!!!
The important thing is NOT to remove the black pin ( as Wil stressed in his email ).
You need to solve it with the black split pin in place.
Afterwards, when you are sure you have completed all the steps, taking out the split pin will allow full dis-assembly, to see the internals.
If you do this be very, very careful of what might emerge as you dismantle it.
