What other puzzles do you recommend?

As an interesting side note, the new Lego that you can buy in the shops today is made of a much softer plastic. Sadly this means that the bricks don't stick together as well as they used to. My original Lego bricks are pretty solid when assembled, however newer bricks that we bought for my son really don't stay together well at all. Any heavy piece such as those on some of the puzzles I've created are far too fragile without glue, but work much better with older bricks. Still not perfect, but they don't fall apart at the slightest touch.

That's progress I guess, and the result of too many kids breaking their teeth getting lego bricks apart!

I went for the Classic design, but it was a toss up between that one and the double 4x4. I see that you did the smart thing and went for both!

Let me know what you think of the double 4x4, because I'm starting to think about adding to my order now.

Yep I like the pureness of the original but couldn't help liking the complex nature of the double. I'll have a bit of a play and lunch and let you know

Well, my order has already been shipped, so I'll have a play with it when it arrives and then see if I'm going to want to get the 4x4 Double later on.

Well you definitely need a light behind the double especially when you're trying to double black it out It becomes quite difficult to work out which square is already dark and which isn't

Huh! I didn't think about that.

Do both sets of tiles move the same way from the starting position? Or are they set up differently?

Otherwise you could just solve both sides with the same movements.
