It's just not a proper MPP without Louis sitting somewhere repeatedly whacking a 1C on everything.

Another great event has come and gone. It was great to see all of the regulars and a few welcome new faces as well.

And a huge thanks to Nigel and Allard for sorting out the venue and refreshments for all of us. :D

Allard and Louis received a handmade. I will leave it to Chris to explain the reason for the non arrival of any other puzzles.

Phew, I am back home, had dinner, and unpacked my luggage. I had to re-organise my puzzle cabinets to accommodate all the new stuff I brought home, including the handmade Revomaze an some chunky others (thanks Oli!).

Nigel thank you for organising another great puzzle day! We met new fellow puzzlers (as in fellow puzzlers we did not meet before, some of them were actually much more seasoned puzzlers than myself). We found ourselves in a very suitable location with fine fish & chips across the road and plenty refreshments brought in by Nigel already . And we got our hands on plenty of old and new puzzles as well.

Allard thank you for making this another awesome puzzle weekend for me (and for the clue on that nicely decorated bolt...)

I enjoyed solving several puzzles that I had failed to solve earlier, and I tried (and sometimes also solved) puzzles that I had not seen before or am unable to buy myself. Several inspiring handmade wooden puzzles were presented by Sam Cornwell, and the very good-looking and rather tricky self-made puzzlebox by Ali was attempted by many and opened by some of us.

I wish there was more time in such a day, then I could also have attempted some lock-picking, (dis-)assembled the intriguing big Chinese cabin(?) puzzle that Richard brought in, investigated the bolt series on Ali's table, or even one of several burr boxes/bricks that were present. And I could have had a chat with more fellow puzzlers, as I am ashamed to say that I have not even spoken with everyone personally.

I am afraid I'll have to come back for more another time... I would love to!
