Amazing no one has admitted to owning a commodore 64. My all time favourite pc thou was the amiga 500. At the time the graphics were amazing.

My 8-bit machine was a amstrad cpc 464 with a tape drive.

i just got out of the military a year ago. served on the newest of the ships the US owned. we still used tape drives. GO TECHNOLOGY!

Had?!?! I still have my TI-99/4A :D With the high speed 300 baud phone coupler modem and the cassette storage system.

That dancing stick figure from the basic Mr. Bojangles example?? That was fantastic ;)

I played munchman for hours. ahh, the Adventure and Pirate Adventure cartridges *drool*.

i loved adventure island ,and am sure i could still play it and beat it again,many hours on that!...unreal... :lol: :lol: :lol:

I had a bunch of them Adventureland, Pirate Adventure, Return to Pirate Island, Mystery Fun House, etc. I love text adventures just something about them that I like so much better than the High Tech graphic games of today. Still love to play the Scott Adams, Infocom, etc games.

They still have warehouse sized rooms with banks of reel to reel computers where i work! And for those of you that can be arsed to scroll through the threads to find where i said that i worked you'd be getting worried!
