Unsure if I should get some RevoMazes.

Well, as the topic says, I am unsure if I should get a RevoMaze or not.
I love puzzles, the price is not the issue.
I'm wondering how fun they are to redo, how long does it take to open them the second or third time?
I have thought about buying the collectors set to get them a bit cheaper, and all of them.
I'm also wondering about this World Series, does anyone know anything? I have asked the support 3 times with no answer at all.
Will it be the same but without a prize and therefore cheaper?
That would be interesting cause I'm only interested in the puzzles not the prices.
Any and all help is thanked for.

The collectors edition set is the set without the prizes. It won't ship until after the competitions are over. The world series is assumed to be the next series of puzzles.

Opening them once is difficult enough. Seeing the correct path on the core itself doesn't make things much easier. I still enjoy re-opening my puzzles, and it's great to see others struggle with them.

Well I'm a patient guy so thats OK with me. =)
This is what I got from Chris when I asked about the collectors Ed "The collectors set will be shipped once the Gold has been solved and the Series Code verified."

So the next series will be completely different?
I know this is the wrong board for this, and I have looked around and could not find an answer. What is the difference in the -feel- of the plastic and metal red? Anyone who have both?

They are literally worlds apart. If you're any sort of collector, get a set of extremes, at least.

I was in a similar position to yourself approx 3 weeks ago... where do I start...
As a collector I wanted every puzzle available, but that was not possible, I did not want to miss out on the Titanium and could not afford to buy the first 4 extreme puzzles and the collectors set. At this point I was not considering the plastic puzzles. I made a decision to be patient and get the collectors set and bought the plastic puzzles (& an Extreme) to get an idea of how these puzzles felt & worked.
I also looked at the forum and noted that everyone was saying that the plastic puzzles were different. Definitely get the Extreme puzzles or the Extreme Set. But I am enjoying the Obsession Set I bought and the White Plastic Spindle/Shaft is perfect for marking your route on. I'm glad I bought them, I think of them as my training wheels for the real event... the extreme puzzles I am patiently waiting for. Enjoy and envy anyone with a Big One!

Let me clarify. The blue and the green plastic puzzles are exactly the same as the extreme versions in design and quality (with very minor exceptions in design). The only differences are the feel of the maze pin on the core and the ability to remove the core. Otherwise, they're a great addition to your collection. The black obsession is your only option for experiencing that maze unless you convince someone to sell theirs as the extremes are discontinued. The red obsession was originally a unique puzzle to the revomaze family. Chris has since released a limited edition Red extreme that is no longer available from Chris, but may be found in limited quantities @ Puzzlemasters.com.
BTW...i would never destroy these beautiful puzzles.

This has been helpful, thank you all!
I have now decided to stop over thinking and just go with it!
Hopefully I will like what I get. =)
