What colour do you think the next announced ReVomaze? Here are a few of the anodised colours available from one of the anodising companies in the UK...

Makes you think doesn't it!

You will need to solve the Silver or Gold FAST!

Even for a chance at the Purple!

I'm thinking it might be a sequence of colours for a new range of enthusiast extreme puzzles at post gold level. perhaps starting with a variant of the 'Big One'. I expect these puzzles will be more expensive and probably limited. This seems to be the most obvious way to keep puzzlers coming back for a little bit more self abuse in 2012/2013.
I'm also thinking that the World Series will be a set of plastic obsession puzzles with entirely different mazes to the next set of extreme puzzles.
Perhaps the world series will be skined in a similar way to the ReVomaze we saw on the Gadget show recently. The obsessions could all have different designs and/or colours relating to the maze inside (for example).
Mmmm....

I think we'll have a new set of puzzles keeping somewhere near the same colors. I hope the next set is square puzzles

Over time I think after set 3 or 4 chris will retire the 1st set and over time Theu will become collectors items

I'm not sure Chris would retire Set 1 since each puzzle is a progression to the next (as he has said). It would be difficult to grow the business if new puzzlers got frustrated and stopped buying newer puzzles (at a higher level) aimed at people who had bought the original Set 1.
Perhaps he could retire the Set 1 Extreme editions and then the Obsession Set 1 could be the route puzzlers could take to progress to any newer Extreme puzzles in the future.
Square puzzles, that's somethink I hadn't thought about...

You would need a hefthy bar stock to machine a square puzzle, it would add a lot to the cost and waste a lot of metal and would be hard on the hands I suspect.

^don't forget, that's kinda contradictory to the idea of a "revo"maze. It's a revolving maze

Yup, your right! So we come back to colours, the most obvious way to discriminate between different puzzles. So assuming the order is Yellow, Purple, Gray(?)... what comes next, and will it be a new range at Gold level and beyond or a new range starting from a level similar to Blue.
What new tricks and traps could be incorporated into ReVomazes. I'm thinking you could introduce magnets in a couple of ways; magnetic pionts on the path that could attract to hold you in place and make it difficult to move forward or, like poles that would repulse and try and force you from the path. The magnets would have to be quite robust and not prone to splintering, perhaps they could be encapsulated in some way.
