Revomaze Blue "sticks"

Three times now the maze has stuck. After unsuccessful attempts, you have the maze in the start configuration, and if the Revomaze label is facing you the right way up, you rotate the axle back towards you (counterclockwise with your right hand), away from the hard end stop, it sticks, or jams. Not against a hard stop like it does the other way. It happens around 90 degrees from the end stop.

It's as if it is wedged, it is very difficult to move back out and takes some time, hours sometimes to get it to free up. There is one or two millimeters of up/down movement when it is wedged.

Is there something wrong with my Blue Revomaze?

I had this problem when i lent my blue out. I found that freezing it (no really put it in the freezer for a few hour will clear that right up). I think it has to do with friction and expansion.

Seriously? Well OK I'll try that, I must admit, it's been hot here lately in Melbourne Australia.

I'm hoping it doesn't happen again though.

What possessed you to try freezing it?

Thanks Adam .. progress, well not very far, I've reached a point where I can't seem to find a way out of an area without tripping traps, 3 of them. Two lower one upper.

I'll keep at it.

Remember!!!!
The Sign of the Four, ch. 6 (1890) Sherlock Holmes in The Sign of the Four (Doubleday p. 111) wrote: "You will not apply my precept," he said, shaking his head. "How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth? We know that he did not come through the door, the window, or the chimney. We also know that he could not have been concealed in the room, as there is no concealment possible. When, then, did he come?"

try mapping the resets ;)
how you map is as important as what you map ;)
dont be affraid to mark the shaft where you "fell off" with a marker.
comes right off with alcohol or oil...lord knows theres plenty of both in my bedroom!

I was having a play with the Blue last week and it stuck again, it was 43 degrees C outside - so an hour in the freezer, and when I could hold it again, it was soooo cold - it was fine and free again.

So it seems the freezing trick

thanks again

running into the same problem only freezing doesn't fix/help it, what should I do?? I've opened it multiple times and put it back together, it was working very smooth and I hit a reset and now it's stuck in the initial reset track where you enter the puizzle.
