RevoBoxes?

So, I was thinking. The white boxes that the Revomazes come in are nice, but are much bigger than the puzzles really need. The stands for the Revomazes are cool, but not really useful for travel. So, what about RevoBoxes?
I for one would be interested in little wooden RevoBoxes. They could be designed so a stand and puzzle could nestle down inside. Maybe have a special stand with padding to nestle the puzzle. They would be good for travel and for long term storage. Just slightly bigger than the puzzles themselves, but interesting.
Could even go all out and have them lock with a little puzzle mechanism. Maybe a pin slide similar to how the Revomazes themselves work, except on a flat surface.
What do others think of this? Disclosure: I have no idea if Chris is thinking of doing anything like this, I have not ran this idea past Chris or anyone related to RevoMaze UK, and I have no intention of creating or ability to create these boxes myself. I was just thinking they would be a nice additional product that could be sold alongside the puzzles, and was wondering what others would think.

Great Idea!,
I personally would prefer this to stickers and T-Shirts etc. No offence to those proposing these. The pouch supplied is a tad fragile for heaving aroung this heavy beast

This is a pretty cool idea.
now lets talk production and marketing
i would in fact not buy a piece of crap box.
that being said it would need to be "furniture quality" wood.
the inside of the box would need to be high quality as well.
the clasp would need to be something special as to keep with the whole maze puzzle feel.
maybe a vertically hinged cylinder?
anyway, my point is this....a high end puzzle would require in my mind, a high end box.
this means it will not be cheap.maybe even "special order".
decorative revoboxes would need to cost almost as much as a puzzle itself to warrant existing in my opinion.
i would almost recommend a treasure chest type box "style"...but i am not even thinking design.....just "quality".....
design:revobox for the gold revomaze
box: gloss black with a matte black maze pattern cover entire box.
hinges:hidden internal flap style(2)
clasp: decorative brass embossed with the revomaze company logo(no stickers)
interior: black silk covered foam with onyx "stand arms" in the middle.
interior of upper lid:black silk embossed with gold letters "Revomaze"
estimated cost @75-120 usd w/o puzzle
i did click yes i would buy one...but only if it is "collectable quality"

Ahhhh, and here I was thinking it should be six pieces of cardboard slapped together with a little glue.
That said, if the mechanism for opening it is not a puzzle itself - I don't see a reason it has to be near the same cost as the RevoMaze. That would be a bit nuts. I'm sure you could make a solid, collectable box for under 60 USD.
I was thinking of something with a bit simpler aesthetic. Say a polished oak box with a simple latch - it could be a pin that looks like a revocore (or even be a small, but simple revocore and have a pin that fits in the slot to keep it locked in place so you have to actually move it), and the interior as padded black or royal blue felt. I would prefer "RevoMaze" be burnt onto the lid or maybe etched, but otherwise have it be unlabeled.
Then again, nothing says it has to be wood, the box itself could be machine, but the cost would be nuts.
Then again, it would be awesome to have something like this as an option to purchase along with the gold revomaze.

maybe the oak would be cool..i was just throwing out one idea...i personally like the "found in a tomb" look...like its an "artifact"...something simpler may be cool too....i just hate cheap junk.
wasnt insinuating you thought any different, surely wasn't trying to be condecending in any way

I agree

Cheap junk would be pointless and insulting to the ReVoBrand.
And I didn't take your comment as negative, I was attempting to sport a joke by my comment about plywood

cool...sometimes i rub people the wrong way without trying to....
i would actually prefer a golden machined box that has an internal light source swo it looks like you opened some kind of treasure but whoooo would that be expensive....i think revomaster probably took in the fact that these puzzles would ship worldwide and made a soft packaging design to insure they made it blemish free.
maybe the "display box" could be a seperate shipping item.
the racks are cool tho.....
maybe we the users could make some boxes...i have a "hobbylobby" right by me and they sell a multitude of display style boxes

Maybe even a box/container that resembles the Revomaze itself, cylindrical in style and to open you unscrew the end. This could be made fairly easily from plastic, metal or wood I would assume.

I like the idea. Perhaps to present it to a more corporate audience.
