REVOMAZE User Group

To make people aware, there is a fake Revomaze out there, for sale in some countries through amazon.

Things to watch out for, as they will probably appear on the likes on ebay and puzzle paradise

• It looks like a silver/handmade/gun metal/titanium (as in, its a silvery metal colour)

• The sticker font is not quite right

• There is NO SERIAL NUMBER

• The maze opens from the wrong end

• There is no dot

• There are two entries to the maze

• The box is completely different

• The description is taken direct off the Official Website, for a Silver maze

If you are buying a maze, make sure you get a picture of the serial number

Ugh, be careful out there! Good advice about the serial BlackClub!

Also the forum’s registered serial list may be useful here in case someone claims they have a certain serial #!

Not fun to hear that Strange that you don't copy them completely then. Are there really the same maze if they have multiple entrances?

Not sure what the maze will be like. I want to get hold of one to pull it apart, but it's not available in the UK.

Its branded as a Silver, for €110 (Euros) !!!

I found the puzzle on amazon Germany (they offer 1.300 pcs.) and when I watch the pictures, I am not able to confirm your information about the details. Why you know the details? Do you have one puzzle? If yes, please post some pictures.

Of course, Chinese feel not shame at all to copy everything and they don´t care any law. Did you report your information to RevoHQ? You should do to give Chris the possibility to contact amazon for this issue.

I got one of this fake Revomaze and I will make some pictures of it and the details. I report to Chris and I offered him to use my lawyer to defend his rights (the importer is a company here in Germany) but it looks like that Chris is not interested. I remind him but I didnt get any response and also during my contact to Jazmin, I asked her to remind him........... no response.

Interesting that he’s not wanting to pursue it. I wonder why?

Sometimes counterfeit products can drive up demand for “the real deal” ones, so maybe he’s strategizing about it that way? That plus I’m a sure it’ll be quite a headache to try to squash the inevitable whack-a-mole situation that can arise with counterfeiters. Maybe he just wants to avoid the frustration and headaches from that.

Sad that there are people out there that just don’t care and will copy products and do anything for a quick buck.

well, maybe sometimes it is correct what you wrote about counterfeit products but I think only when it is a mass product. It doesn´t matter if this is the stragegy of Chris or not - there is somebody who cares about fakes and about the right of Chris and about honest customers who get cheated............. the minimum what he can do is to give an answer - right?
