New to Revomaze here and have a 7-set on the way. Looking for nonspecific (no hints) advice on how to approach the puzzles. Planning on doing them easiest to hardest. But mostly wanted to say hello to the community!

Greetings!
You have entered the exiting world of no time and no money to spare except for more Revomazes...

Congrats on the set!
You'll be frustrated, annoyed but nonetheless hooked to continue and amazed and gobsmacked once your hands and fingers loose their cramps and the mazes show themselves to you for the first time.

As tips:
Map the hell out of them mazes!

Which mazes do you get in this set?

Go get yourself some graph paper and a mechanical 0.5mm pencil, a triangular Engineer ruler and a good eraser and your set to make maps. Remember if you know where you can't move then the obvious answer is the way. Oh, welcome to the world of Revomaze. Start with the Blue and move on to the next one. Each maze teaches you another skill.. KIRK

Upgraded the order to the 11-set so I will have my hands full in a few weeks. Had a few questions.

I've seen people discuss plated and non-plated cores and was curious what this was about. Just a metal finish?

I've also seen people discuss mapping tools. I assume there are many versions/variations. Is there a preferred tool to help in this area?

Thanks!

I believe all the mazes/cores are brass, but normally they are coated in nickel which gives them the shiny, silver look. The unplated are just brass cores.
