Is it true that...

I went to the mall the other day and saw these mazes, and the person working the counter said that if you solve the maze, there's a key inside, and you register the key online to get a scavenger hunt where you win $1000 if you solve it. Is that even true, or was she just making something up to make a sale? I don't see anything on the website about that.

If that is what was stated, then No it's not correct. I've not ever heard or seen this but will need to check if this is an exclusive to Marbles.

Huh, that's new. Maybe there was some confusion with the Sonic Games series? Although I'm not even sure if that is the case with them any more either.

I was just in marbles yesterday picking up the Gunmetal Revo and the clerk was talking to someone about the ISIS mazes and said that once you open one of them (not sure if its Isis, Ramisis, etc) and register it online there is a unique key that opens a pyramid somewhere in the world that has a coin worth $500 or more.

That was for the most part true. There were / possibly still are pyramids in random businesses/locations that you had to solve a clue and bring a key to open.

Mostly there were "Virtual" pyramids that were clue solving only. As long as you registered your solved puzzle, you could participate. Very few actual physical pyramids. There was also a subscription thing somewhere in there...

All of this, though, has nothing to do with Revomazes. That was a program exclusive to the Sonic Games "ISIS" series.

I also had to mail in one of my early keys for a newer one, I don't exactly remember the reasoning. I think the keys will be required for part of the last puzzle in the isis series.

As a side note, this should be moved to the off topic section.

I wouldn't think so. Although the answer was no this is still technically a Revo related question. But what do I know eh? ;)
