Air travel?

I know that people have had understandable difficulties with Revomazes in carry on luggage. Have there been any problems with having a Revomaze in their checked luggage? I wouldn't mind having a Revomaze with me on an upcoming trip, but not if it ends up being confiscated or broken.

Rarely, but it is possible. I had my maze detained at the Seattle Airport when it went through checked luggage. I received a claim slip that let me pick it up when I came back through.

Thanks. That's what I thought would be the case. It's too bad they look so suspicious, I would have liked a weeks worth of evenings uninterrupted to work on the Orange. Pretty pathetic when my first choice of things to do with my free time is to work on a rotating piece of brass.

everytime i have a revo on my checked baggage, it gets searched. so dont put anything you want to look nice in the same bag. those guys have no respect for leaving your stuff in the same way they found it.

I really wish I could bring my revo on a plane. I have several long flights planned this snowboarding season and need something to do!

If you have the revo set with the shaft out along a reset it doesn't look so bad in the xray (ie not looking gernadish) ??

Just for the record I've taken mine on planes 3 times, twice was the blue revo and one time was the green. All three were long international flights and the only time I got stopped was with the green one. But all they did was ask me what it was then gave it back.

I could only hope that is all they would do. I hate TSA with a passion and am convinced they would take it away and I would never see it again!
If lime is as hard as they are saying I would love to bring it with me.

My parents just flew down to see me and they brought part of the collection i'd been having sent to their house. They got 3 of them here for me and seemed to have no issues.
Also coming home i had to go through customs with blue, bronze and gold and neither of them had a problem. Having a shipping receipt doesn't hurt! I also usually have the website up on my phone for legitimacy.
