Last time I spoke to Chris about this I was told that he intends to use the coins that were originally made for the Red for the Handmades:

'Fraid not - the coins were made to accompany the Limited Edition Puzzles and the original first twelve of Series 1...

(Orange is a reasonable large, albeit technically limited, edition)
