I suggest keeping it simple and just selling it to whoever has given the highest offer for it.

Well I'd love to get my hands on a mint black for display but I think this is way out of my price range!

I agree, why make the disposition of it so complicated?
If you can't stand liberal Ebay, just put it up for auction
here to the highest bidder, pure and simple and forget it.
I already feel like this has been discussed ad nauseum.

But he's already stated:

So he obviously doesn't want a bidding war :!: :|

Hi Guys

Thanks for all your comments and suggestions. The first circular will be going out today to interested parties. While I know the whole process isn't perfect it will give each at least a fighting chance as everyone really (really) wants one.

If this were a mass produced item and the audience was in the hundreds I would go with the public auction. But this is not any regular item and the audience (15-20 so far) is very specific. If someone has silly money at their disposal I'm sure other BlackEX revos will eventually hit the market but this revo has different plans.

This puzzle is an important piece of revo culture and I feel strongly that it should be passed on to a community member through some form of equitable means. If you have a BlackEx you already know it is more a piece of artwork than anything else plus knowing that there are only 21 in existence is pretty damn cool - how's that for a pitch :) But the wife says it is just a chuck of carved metal and I've idolized it enough - then I made the mistake of bring up the wedding dress - so here we are.

Cheers
Mike

Ok the time has come again  when money is more important than puzzles. These are the only puzzles left in my house which I'm willing to sell. I would love them all to go to one collector for around £500 but if I'm not that lucky they will all be on EBay at the end of the week. Please pm me any realistic offers. Most revo's are in the original large box except gold, lime and orange. Gold and Lime are still unsolved as is the red obsession  please note the rec obs is in poor condition. There's a couple of vinco puzzles ,Eric fillers cigar boxes ( no cigars ) an nkryptor 4 cake boxes and various other bits.
ITEMS ARE NOW SOLD
