Yes and no...(can't really say much more than that in an open forum, I'm afraid).

I think the collectors' edition is probably aimed at people who've already opened them... seeing the insides (or knowing some stuff, that you'd have to know in order to put some of them together) will seriously reduce the challenge of solving them... and may even destroy most of the joy of solving them...

Just my opinion, YMMV, professional drivers on a closed course and all that...

I can't get them until school is over apparently.. so timeframe isn't much of a problem.


I was thinking about emailing chris about mailing them sealed, and I wouldn't look at the maps until i opened them anyway... what's the point of a puzzle if you don't have to figure it out right?

I've decided to preorder gold and order the metal blue, and plastic set next month.

Won't get the gold until... well, 28 days after it's released, so I'll end up getting the blue and plastic before I get the gold.

From there, I'll get the other metals.
