I shall not buy one of these ... I do not need one ...

Post by maztec »

But oh my, there is a small part of me, that would just love to have one:

Imagine the trouble a person could get into with one of those.

Or worse yet, what would happen if one of those was attached to the bottom of a manhole cover.

Or the hospital bill that would be incurred.

Or how the hell you would even remove one, if you got stuck between two of them?

No, I do not need one of these, ever. But it looks like so much fun.

*sigh*

I think the main use I'd have for that is seeing which metal objects i could throw past it at an angle so that it orbited around and stuck to the far side.

Seriously though, what possible use would that have other than locking 2 metal things together?

Bunch of them could be used to make an awesome generator.

Love your idea though.

I've just worked out how the rehab market could benefit!

put people in rehab into a cell and seal the door/gate using one of those magnets. and tell them once they're healthy/fit enough to force the door open then they're free to go

and you could re-use them afterward too!

*goes to dragons den with a pitch* lol

Just to keep this on "topic", maybe
Chris could incorporate one of these
into the 2010 series of revomazes.
It would keep the "heavy" image up
but stay away from any appliances.

I never played with the Isis puzzle, but, correct me if I am wrong, a main component of the puzzle is a magnet?
I think that a magnetic version of Revomaze could be pretty interesting!
RevoMaze Extreme Blue - Opened in 6 hours
RevoMaze Extreme Green - Opened in 4 hours
RevoMaze Extreme Black - Opened in 5 hours
RevoMaze Extreme Red - Working on it...

...I wouldn't say the main component was a magnet...althought there is one to get 'around' at the start...then it's a maze and a series of co-ordinated moves...also blind like doing a Revomaze, but with significantly less feedback to the user...some people like them...

[FWIW I think they look nice but don't really like them as a puzzle...unlike my Revo's that look brilliant and they're lovely puzzles to play with... :D ]
