Hi guys,

Just to clarify the rise in cost on the Lime is due to a general rise in the engineering costs. We have been working with our engineers, who we have only been with us for a short time, to bring them up to speed on how to produce the Revomaze. During this process the cost of producing mazes has been subsidised.

Both myself and especially Chris have been working to decrease the amount of time between ordering and receiving mazes. This process of the Lime has been tracked from design to drawing to production and this is why we are reserving numbers rather than taking pre orders to ensure no one pays for a maze until we have them produced. Although this process takes slightly longer it improves our ability to control the whole process.

I would like to thank all our dedicated Revomazers for their continued patience we are always striving to improve the systems and protocols we use to ensure you receive the highest level of service and the highest quality puzzles.

The picture of the Lime as is a sample Lime sleeve from sometime ago as soon as we have new Lime sleeve a new picture will be posted onto the website. I can also say having tested the Lime briefly it is going a handful, no pun intended, and one of the best Revos to date.

Production is in advanced stages and the first 20 people to be reserve the Lime will be notified in the next few weeks with the opportunity to purchase their reserved puzzles.

Please feel free to contact me regarding the Lime or any other Revomaze matter. I am now available via email.

Best

Joseph.

Thanks for the update Joseph, but does this mean that there will be more than 20 mazes made??

As the limes are currently in the limited edition section, will limes be limited? I would love to get one, but I would rather wait a while to find out some more.

I'm guessing here but I think the red was of similar price, so, this being a pure guess, 125 puzzle limited edition?

Or as the engineering cost has gone up then could be 250 like orange and gold (not including CE golds).

Or, most likely, something completely different!!

OK I only saw red on puzzlemaster and I think it was around 300CAD thus why I said lime was similar price to red.

I think I paid c. £80 for my Red from RevoHQ. ( and from memory the Black was of the same order - JUST CHECKED - BLACK WAS £90, including P&P) ... HM was significantly higher because it was made by hand, not because it was only available in a small quantity ... Of course the secondary market bears little resemblance to these prices... With some people offering silly money for puzzles that cannot be opened!)

Why do I remember hearing this once before and it turned out to not be totally awesome?

Once our numbers are produced how long do we have to purchase?
