I agree. Bronze is really a great puzzle. Many have completed it as a first puzzle (unlike the Silver), and it has great replay value.

Did you hear that from Revo HQ ? It says out of stock on the website. Not discontinued.
There are 77 Golds registered so far. That leaves 173 still potentially available, assuming everybody who pre-ordered is in the "registered" group. I emailed Nicole about this ages ago,to see if more Golds would be available, but am still waiting for an answer...

well not specifically but on the store site in the gold v1 section it says this:-

''Your journey concludes with the Prestigious REVOMAZE Extreme Gold that we are limiting to 250 puzzles.''

and also on the FAQ page (http://www.revomaze.co.uk/phpBB3/viewto ... ?f=7&t=821)
i say the following:

''Limited to: 500 (250 as part of CE sets, 250 sold individually)''

so i assume that there is only 250 available to be bought individually and that there will only be 250 available to be bought individually. And as the store say they have sold out i presume that they have sold all 250, as they have got a new engineering company who are not messing them around and are fulfilling orders from revo HQ and i dont see why they wouldnt order all 250 in one go. Also the Gold has been on its way for almost 2 years now which leaves plenty of time for 250 people to actually pre order all 250 puzzles.

it also says that they are out of stock for the orange, red, handmade, and black yet the only one they say will not be made again is the black??

I'm not 100% sure but i think not every puzzle has been shipped/recieved by the person who bought them yet because of the batch system, and or poor postal service in their area. (dont quote me on this though), and not everyone will register their puzzle some people just arent interested in the forum or the competition.

And finally as the gold is supposed to be such a difficult puzzle i cant see chris remaking it it will be like the popplock T1 so difficult to open that hardly anyone will manage it and from my understanding it is quite a complex puzzle so its probably not the easiest of puzzles to make and assemble therefore there is no real reason for it to be made in abundance like puzzles 1-4 in the series.

But none of this is fact it is what i have gleaned from reading around in the forum and the store, and if i am wrong in what i have gleaned and or assumed then anyone please correct me!

Rich everything you said is pretty much spot on from what I understand

250 To sell
250 CE

500 total and that's it

Not everyone has received their Gold yet. Not sure how many batches there are but I know people are still waiting.

Id definitely PM Nicole to see if there are any more available but 500 is the number.

Whoa! Forget about ordering a gold (even if it's still available). In my opinion, the Bronze is the best Revomaze experience out there. The silver is also a fantastic puzzle, but it has never been opened as a first, and may end up as a paper weight on your desk.

Intresting comments about Gold versions..

Personally I don't see any commercial sense in stopping a run of puzzles like Bronze Silver and Gold. After all you have invested a fair amount of time in its design and the Gold design is not a "Limited" edition. Its more likely that the V1 edition will be no longer made and that Silver and Gold editions will continue in appear as smooth V2 versions in due course.
