switching to the body style two is a bad idea. i have not bought these puzzles so that i can sell them later for more $ than i bought them for. i seriously doubt many (if any at all) have. i bought the entire series I because of the quality of puzzle and the "sexiness" (if you dont mind my expression) or shelf quality these puzzles have. I do not believe that the v2 bodies have this. they are curvasious, but not sexy!
i feel that the v2 bodies should continue to be available for all competition style puzzles for those not joining the compitition.
All others in Series I should continue to use the v1 body. after that, if you want to change the body, let it be in series II.

I went ahead and grabbed a Bronze and Silver off puzzlemaster. Who knows when or if I'll have the chance again. I have a blue V2 (outer, inner is V1) and a Green obsession. If they still have green metals I might pick one up next month to complete the set.

OK - I will be the first (only?) to try and cash in on the excitement of a Red on Ebay!
Yes I know it won't be getting anywhere near the price that the last one went for, but it is totally 100% as new (been opened couple of times), it's boxed (original 'proper' box) and does not appear to suffer from the plating issues that some did.
The Red looks just great but for those of us that have them we all know they just don't have the sort of replay value that the others do - with the Red it's all about the exclusivity and collectability and not so much about the challenge of the puzzle!
Have listed it with international shipping and choice of air or surface.
Still haven't ordered an Orange yet (was waiting to see how we ended up with the Gold) so if I end up with enough PayPal credit to order an Orange (when back in stock) then sorted!

Open = Green, Blue, Bronze, Red, Black, Black V2, resting = Silver, started = Gold, ready for when Gold gets too much = Orange.
