Red is the color of the devil...
It's so simple to understand, but soooo hard to do, I am unable to 'get the feeling' with this one...
Big respect to the first one opening the plastic red, probably not me!

About the plastic black (which I don't own):
Is the revomaze inside indeed the same as in the metal black?
If yes, I wonder if people notice it, since the plastic maze never becomes visible. I lent my black to two other people who did not notice it, even when they had the maze out of the sleeve.

Mine turned up today too! :D
Yeh, the black is the same as the metal version, and no, I doubt many if any people will guess it's secret ;)
Agreed about the red, feels like it should be so simple but quite clearly it isn't! I have the blue, green and black open... just waiting for the revo extreme site to come online now :)

Love the feel of these plastic ones, much lighter than the metal ones (clearly) but still weighty enough to feel like a quality puzzle. The click of the traps is very good too, much better than I was expecting. I actually found the plastic ones a little harder at first becase there are no serial numbers on the shaft so there is nothing to use as visual markers... it forces you to learn the maze better and no doubt practicing on these will speed up your opening times on the metal ones.

Just to prove that Im not on Chris' payroll for singing the praises on these babies, the one downside I've found so far is that the shafts can sometime be a little jerky when sliding them in and out of the sleeve. I believe this is due to the texture left on the shaft from the machining process. Im guessing they were made deliberately bacause without them you'd never be able to grip the end with even slightly sweaty hands... that said, the more I played the less jerky they bacame :)

Gona have a proper go at the red tonight... I can see that even mapping this thing is gona be a pig! :?

The red is delightfully simple in its design, seeing what you need to do is as simple as opening your eyes, but doing it is aproaching imposible!

Got mine today Blue Green Black and Red and they are great. I do find these harder than the metal ones just like bluesign2k i use the markings a lot and the plane shaft has made me change my ways. I think its great that i can never see inside the black and red so their secrets will never be fully reveiled :D
