Yes it was the v2 black.
Just to clear things up, the obsession with the green R on the shaft is actually the black v2 obsession. They ran out of stickers so it was easier to use up the greens on them instead of buying more blacks.
There was a green obsession which was the plastic version of the green extreme, but this is no longer in production...
