First Revomaze could use some help....

Starting with the Gunmetal, oh dear.. I wouldn’t say impossible, but it’s certainly quite the uphill battle considering how unique this maze is. Though perhaps your lack of initial assumptions could actually help you in this regard after you get used to how a Revomaze works.

I just acquired this as my first Revomaze myself, and I must say I am completely at a loss. I purchased it used from ebay and apparently the owner before had already progressed a bit into the maze before sending it to me.

I have completely mapped the area that its stuck in, but I can't seem to find the way out of what I suspect is a trap. I have hugged every wall in every direction and am still struggling to get passed the stage it's at. If someone could give me a bit of guidance on which spot I should be focusing on for progression I would love to share my map and get some advice if anyone is willing. Please let me know and I'll PM what I have so far.
