Rocky Chiaro

Post by RichAE91 »

Well my Rocky Chiaro Puzzle Bolts arrived this morning and couldn't find a thread on these so thought I'd start one.

I got all 6 bolts and I've solved 4 out of the 6 in about an hour a so far I wouldn't say that the puzzling quality is great, but they are most definitely beautifully made!

Have you solved One-Wa-Sure yet? That has always been my favourite. And from what I hear it also seems to be the most difficult of the set.

No One - Wa - Sure and Dub - L - Wa - Sure are the ones I have yet to solve but my Dub - L - Wa - Sure seems to have jammed :(

Edit: unjammed Dub - L - Wa - Sure and solved it!

Uh oh! It shouldn't do that. :?

Drop me a message if you need any help clarifying the mechanism.

No need Check the Edit ^^^

It jammed because i tried turning the 2 Nuts in opposite directions and the holes on these arent perfectly straight so they jammed on the washer between them , but turn out the washer is slightly thinner on 1 side than the other so i managed to twist it and it freed up then and I could get on with solving it which didnt take long lol

Oh...hold on...I got that the wrong way wrong. :?

Dub-L-Wa-Sure is meant to jam. It's One-Wa-Sure is the one that shouldn't.

I know what I'm on about. Honest!

He likes to think he does ;)

I still have yet to purchase the other three to complete my collection, but I'm currently pretty strapped for cash atm, what with car insurance, tax and mot PLUS bike insurance, tax and mot/service coming up in the next few months!! :(

I need to get some of Rocky's Puzzles after hearing about them. Small, Presentable, Shiny.

They're expensive little beasts though.
