I have four sitting, but I'm waiting till after Christmas before I post pics or write reviews so that others out there have time to play before I show anyone what arrived.

Indeed let's not post those pictures before Christmas, so everyone who placed theirs under the tree will have a real surprise when opening the packages.
I was in the lucky position to solve most of this years Karakuri Christmas presents recently, but I don't remember which designer made which puzzle. There was one familiar design in the set, and one or two familiar-looking box with different-than-expected mechanism.

Makes perfect sense to me Louis... In fact mine are under the tree and I've not played with them yet (or even opened the boxes).

The box with A and B side you mean?
That is similar to the confetto box indeed, but the moves to get to compartment B are different this time.
