At 962 pieces (if my math is right) with 1212 stickers (which I had to apply myself) the Petaminx is currently the worlds largest production Rubik's Cube style twisty puzzle.

I'm not going to scramble it until this weekend. With this many pieces it will take a while to scramble it let alone solve it.

that is crazy... I haven't even scrambled my Teraminx yet...

ok where an i get one and how much does it cost because ive been waiting for the v-cube 11 for ages now (having played extensively with a v-cube 7) and after 3 years theres still no sign of it so it would be nice to have a new challenge that isnt quite a cube because after all once youve solved a 4x4x4 or greater youve solved them all

I... have to respecfully disagree! I did the 4x4 and i think there is a little smelly present in my pants at the sight of that beautiful monstrosity!

Actually, I have known about it for a few weeks!!! And ...... I'm not likely to buy it!

The reasons?

• It is selling for $240!
  It comes unstickered - with 1200 stickers at 30 sec to place each one on average that will be 10 hours of stickering!!
  It is just a very large odd ordered megaminx and thus is more of an arduous solve than a true challenge. Being odd ordered means here will be no interesting parities to solve.
  I have already acquired 68 twisty puzzles in the last 5 months!
  There are more on there way!
  Some of them have been hand made and cost an arm, a leg and a kidney.

But on the other hand - it would make a great centrepiece wouldn't it?
