Mobile Puzzle Apps

For anyone interested there is an app on the Apple App Store called 'Twister3D' that is definitely worth a download.

It has various types of burr and interlocking puzzles that you can solve. It isn't a match for the real thing, but still pretty cool.

There is also a 'lite' version available, so you can try out 6 puzzles for free before paying the 99p for the full version.

Feel free to recommend any other cool puzzle apps that you've come across too. :D

my favorite puzzle apps are pathpix, ancient frog, colorblind, trainyard, rubik's, and pocket ball. For a couple rubik's type apps, check out twisyhedron and tesseract.

I still think a revomaze app would be boss.

Yep Trainyard is a great one!
Starts off easy but becomes loads of fun later!

Another interesting one I've come across on the App Store is called 'The Heist'.

...thanks for the pointer at The Heist, Oli ... had a quick look at it and downloaded it straight away, and been playing it for a couple of hours - very nicely executed game with a combination of different sorts of graded puzzles (sokoban, rush hour, 15 sliding puzzle and a sudoku variant that makes you think)

Great tip, thanks Oli!

It's knocked Angry Birds off the top spot too so it's popular even.

The only drawback I've found is that it doesn't take very long to complete. But you never know, there may be updates in the future.
