Re: Wil Strijbos!!!

Post by kev1n »

Whilst not entirely about Wil Strijbos, I thought I addd in that my 3 puzzles from Wil arrived whilst I was at work and so did another package. Santa has definitely arrived early this year and it's a shame I'm too busy to actually play now.

The big question is: what do I start with? Should I go straight for the Lotus? What about all the cubes? Plus I got some twisties!
How do I choose?

Package from today:

Mr Fuller sent these just over a week ago:

Let's not forget my recent twisties:

And this doesn't include my November deliveries!!!

HELP I need a bigger room!!!

Kevin...you have a problem...

You're still missing a few.

Those pillowed 2x4x4 and 3x5x5s look great by the way!

kevin, you lucky ****

the Uranus is a great Burr, love the way it comes together. You shouldn't have trouble with that one.

the 4 Stones Labyrinth is good, you shouldn't have trouble with that one either. ;)

so maybe start with those?!? ;)

but it's all about the Lotus!!!

mine is still not budging  8-)

Waddler, it is the "2 Rings Teddy (Hanayama)" from Wil's Dec. newsletter C

It is just at the bottom of Kevin's picture of his Wil Strijbos haul.. Easy to miss when the eye is drawn to all the other goodies ;)

cool, i'll have a gander, may end up putting another order in :?

UPDATE:

well, i seem to be pretty useless at Wil's puzzles. i managed the Dovetail Cubes and T (very nice!!), and completed the 4 Stones Labyrinth (which i enjoyed!!) but the Washer Cylinder isn't doing anything and neither is the Lotus. Also im still stuck on the First Box, which btw i've had for nearly two months now!!!!

Finally solved Lotus this evening (after having merely opened and closed it, fully, a few times, up to now...)

Classic Strijbos ... And evil! :)
