My package from Wil also got an inspection as it had clearly been opened and had been resealed (read: plastered) in UK border agency tape :D

We're getting kind of off-topic here though (sorry Kevin).

Still off topic ( Sorry Kevin ) but my package from Will arrived today, also with the UK Border inspection tape around it. Maybe it was the large Bolt which upset them ? Customs were definitely well puzzled today. I wonder if they have a puzzle expert on the staff ?

...ask Chris Pitt about the time Customs 'modified' a Revomaze... ('Opened' would be the wrong word in this case!)

Right - back on topic now...!

Well both my dovetails arrived from Wil just now :D

Postie couldn't get the parcel to scan

I particularly like the way Wil included a free puzzle with this...

How do you get into a box that looks like it's made of tape???

Wil does tend to go overboard on the brown tape doesn't he! At least you know it's waterproof.

My box also was completely covered in brown tape - it was almost as hard as a puzzle to open the damn thing!!!

Has anyone opened any of the dovetails yet?

I have the convex one and have tried all directions of twist and pull, in all orientations.
I have tried shaking, rattling and rolling it.
Banging it down in every direction doesn't seem to help either (not good for my desk!)
Spinning it around and around also is no help.

Does anyone know whether we need a magnet? 'Cos I don't actually have one in the house!

I have run out of ideas now - I hope we don't need to submerge it or something silly like that!

I noticed his boxes was VERY well packaged. I wish my Revos shipped like that. Some of my boxes got damaged in transit.
