My favorites are Eliss, Tetryon, Zen Bound, Chromixa+++, Colorblind++, HarborMaster, Ingenious, Cut the Rope, Trainyard, and PapaSangre.

All awesome on totally different scales.

Well I thought Trainyard was superb! Cheers Oli, I have now graduated as "The Heist" puzzler.

I shall now work my way through these above and see what I think.

PapaSangre is probably my favorite game on the iPhone so far. Sadly, it is rather short and I've never been able to get the second ending for some reason :\.

Trainyard really is one of the best games in terms of raw puzzling, I just wish there was an iPad version.

Speaking of iPad, anyone have any good game suggestions for it?

Also, I noticed that The Heist gives you an activation code for a Steam game ;).

I've been playing gears on iPad. That's been a good time waster, with superb graphics. Maybe not strictly a puzzle game but very enjoyable.

I also really enjoy Drop7. They were recently bought by Zynga but the game is still the same.

Two more puzzle type apps that I think are well worth a look are:

The Lost City and The Secret Of Grisly Manor

Both made by a company called Fire Maple Games.

They aren't too long or difficult, but they are nicely made and good fun. :)

I often like to play 'the little crane that could'. Its not really a puzzle app, but it required fine movements of the various levers, and best of all its free. :D

If any of you are also into twisty puzzles then you might like to try Twistyhedron. It is a very well designed/implemented simulation of twisty puzzles and includes a huge number to try from cubes to cuboid and icosahedrons to dodecahedrons. It has corner and face turning puzzles too.

The best thing is that for only £1.50 it is universal for iPhone and iPad. It is better on iPad due to screen size. I have been playing with it for a couple of weeks now.

As a massive recommendation from myself, check out an app called Cogs. It's available in the app store and on Android. It's a sliding tile puzzle taken to a completely awesome new level.

Seriously...check it out!
