In a slight twist to the other comments in this thread about the Vinco puzzles, I stared building my own Matroishka. Keep an eye on my blog for the updates on progress. I managed to get the basic parts cut and glued this weekend (and I now know why he doesn't make many of these at a time!). With 54 individual pieces used for the larger shell, it takes a lot of time to cut and sand and glue all the pieces together!

Now I just need to sand the pieces to their correct size and glue each of the sub pieces together into the 6 sides to make the first shell of the puzzle. While I don't think I'm going to take it to being the double shell plus a Cube Vinco, if I get a good working outer shell i'll be pretty happy.

More Vinco puzzles have just been posted - many really good ones now available. He has added another 120 puzzles to his selection.

If you want a Matrioshka then he has several up for grabs in a number of really nice woods too.

I have just spent another fortune!!!!
