Great that means I get to buy two of each one for my finger and one to keep unsullied.
Good thing they're inexpensive, no?

I sent an email to Rainer Popp re Popplock availability recently and this was his response for anybody interested in quality tricklocks:

Hi Nigel,
thanks for your mail!

I think that you can get a T2 from Peter:
peterschnurzel@googlemail.com
He is a friend of mine who deals with antique locks.
He bought some of my locks as well.

I will make some more T1s some day.
But at the moment I focus on new models.
T6 will come out in spring.
I will write a newsletter, please register on my homepage if you like:
www.popplock.com

Best regards,
Rainer

Thanks for sharing that message Nigel! I'm sure that the T6 is something to really look forward to if the others are anything to go by.

Having come to a complete block in the swamp in the silver - I have started on other diversions! My wife got me a rubiks cube 3x3x3 and 4x4x4 for Xmas and I can do those wihout too much difficulty.

So to increase the difficulty and longevity I have obtained some larger cubes! I bought a 5x5x5 and a 7x7x7 V-cube from their website and have mastered them over the last couple of days.

Definitely worth a look if you like a different challenge and certainly a good pair to frighten your friends!

There is some chinese house puzzles that may be interesting to assemble.

http://puzzlemaster.ca/browse/chinesehouse/

I don't have one so I cannot tell if it worth the money even though it seems really nice!

The Tuttminx, a 32 sided derivative of the Rubik's Cube. Available from http://www.verypuzzle.com/

Be warned though, it comes naked, you have to apply the stickers yourself.
