Is that BL 242? Just got a quick glance at the serial number but that's what it looks like to me. Now just track the number down and askEABlade wrote:I'm still trying to find out who the red soxs fan on you tube is.... Chicago
28 degrees F
light snow on the ground...snowed for the first time right on December 1st.
The trees up and a few lights on the raling outside.....watched them light the Big Tree in NY city on TV.....planning to go "downtown" to the daley plaza ..they have a germanfest there every year...giant tree ice skating..and best of all the hot spiced wine served in a little ceramic boot.
...Lakeshore Drive is really pretty when the lakes frozen.....and the magnificent mile...aka michigan avenue...looks like ;moneys no object:...
christmasLand.......
93.9 out of chicago plays christmas music 24/7 for the whole month.
The sounds of bells can be heard everywhere as the Salvation Army bell ringers are EVERYWHERE....
we always drop a gold dollar into the pots....

Re: World - USA
I woke up this morning to the first 1/4" of snow on the ground (~6.4 mm for most reasonable people). Now had I lived any farther south, ALL schools and business would have been closed and the city completely shut down for fear of the oncoming snowmageddon. Growing up in NC, I remember a day where there was a light dusting on the roadways, everything was closed...and bone dry by noon! What's worse is that every SUV in town was stuck in a ditch on account of a god complex
Re: World - USA
I grew up in Buffalo, NY, where the only time you'd get a snow-day would be when it dumped about a foot of snow between 3am and 5am... Any earlier and the snow crews would be able to clear the streets in time...
Didn't stop us from having to shovel out the driveway before school though.
Now I live in California... I miss the snow around the holidays, but that's about it...
