Gotchya.
I think my story is kinda funny. I think i got one of the "harder" versions (is there a way to tell the difference?) and my brother was coaxing me to put paper in there and do that technique... and... im fairly certain the smallest sliver is now in there... and... thats probably a better reason it won't open. Unless it actually is the harder version and i ... just don't know how to do it.
Thoughts?

I'll wait until Feb 2013 and try and pick up a broken one off E-bay for £10!
Re: SonicWarp puzzles
Never got any of the isis's (isises isis'?) but my impressions from other peoples testimonies are that the build quality is not good enough and the price is high for all of them.
Pretty though!
May get all five when the time comes around and if the price is right but I doubt it!

Re: Tess-ar-isis
Is it just me, or is just looking at the name badge on the puzzle a prediction of the internal quality & care?

Re: SonicWarp puzzles
Now that looks top of the line!
Man . .. I Just do not understand the twisty-puzzle craze these days. I have yet to see one that really stands out as a unique and interesting puzzle. Some of the shapes and configurations are cool, but most are just "let's put more sides on it!" Maybe that is a product of my dislike the rubik's cube, despite being able to solve it.

This is obviously just a Pre-prototype, with a paper name badge sticked on it.
Their puzzles usually turn out to be significantly different from such initial images.
So far their development process is the same as before: no news for a long time, then a picture and the ability to Pre-order, but no involvement of their test team. This is usually followed by a release date, a few reschedules of the release date, and at some point the puzzles are shipped.
