Miguel Berrocal

Post by ezamover »

A simply astounding "puzzle" artist IMO.

Opus 167 is my favourite.

One sold at Christies for only $3000 .... I am keeping an eye out for his stuff now!
But I can bet you never see one on ebay.

You bet wrong. His sculptures can regularly be found on eBay.

I changed the topic title, as his name is 'Berrocal'. I think 'Berroca' is a kind of vitamin tablet.

...there have been several almost permanently on eBay - but from my research, you will find them for significantly less from Christies or Bonhams... do a search.

Yarr. That Allard speaks true he does. :D

Also, it's worth noting that James Dalgety is still an agent for Berrocal's works. So it would also be worth getting in touch with him if you're after anything in particular.

I am quite amazed that they are on ebay.

Thank you very very much for the info.

...and I'm pretty sure you can make out Opus 167 in the picture of one of James' Berrocal cabinets on my blog...
